How does it work?
Photofacial is performed in a series of non-invasive
treatments. These gentle treatments gradually produce
noticeable results after about 4-6 sessions. Intense
pulses of light are applied to the skin. The light
penetrates
the
top
layer
of skin, stimulating skin cells to produce new
collagen, smoothing fine lines and reducing pores.
What to expect after treatment
Results should become especially noticeable after
several treatments, as wrinkles, redness, and age
spots fade away. Patients also enjoy a reduction
in pore size, and an overall better skin tone and
texture. There is virtually no downtime associated
with photofacial. Some patients experience slight
redness after their IPL treatment, always lasting
less than 24 hours.
